Livi Mills is a visual artist and printmaker living and working in London. Livi has a Masters in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts and a BA in Fine Art from the University of Leeds. She currently works as Printmaking Facilitator at Richmond Upon Thames College and is the Zsuzsi Roboz Scholar at Morley College for 2017-18.
Livi's practice explores the space of non-place; a space characterized by the act of 'passing through', manifesting in the form of ‘the journey’. Our experience of space is guided by an invisible system of partition and ownership; an experience often mediated further by the camera lens. Livi combines traditional and digital printmaking processes to isolate and construct new, sensory landscapes; questioning the perceived antithetical relationship between natural and constructed space.
